Write, Write, Write!

When I have spoken to established fiction authors, one of the main things that they have advised me to do is just write. So, being inspired by a course that I have recently attended run by the wonderful Stephen Booth (Cooper & Fry Series) I did just that! I had not considered writing crime fiction before, I had several novels on back burners but they were more history based stories that I had come to a stop with. Using tips from Stephen, I found something I saw whilst en route to a break away and it kick-started me to write the beginning of a crime fiction book and from there the words just keep on coming. After starting just a couple of weeks ago, I am now at 21,000 words and have been able to write a little most days, some days I write a lot.

So, let's see where it leads, for now, I am driven by the story and it's characters - long may it continue!
